🔒 Someone shared payment details with you
⚠️ Only pay if you were expecting this.
Scammers send "payment details" too. If in doubt, check with the person by phone first.
How it works and what it can't do
- Encrypted on your device. AES-256-GCM via your browser's built-in Web Crypto. With a passphrase, the key is derived using PBKDF2 (600,000 rounds), so guessing is slow.
- Nothing is stored anywhere. The locked details travel inside the link after the
#, a part of web addresses that browsers never send to servers. This page is also forbidden from making any network connection. - Tamper-proof. The expiry date is sealed inside the encryption, so editing the link breaks it.
- Limits (honestly). Anyone who can open the link sees the details, and a bank transfer can't work any other way. "One payment" and expiry are enforced by this app, but a determined person could copy the details or bypass it. Links can't be recalled once sent. For the strongest protection, share a payment link: the payer never sees your account.
